Day 146: The True Price of your Cheap Clothes in NeoApartheid

In Bangladesh, 100 workers were killed in a factory fire. Yes - this was one of the factories we all know about where clothes shops in the West have their clothes made by people working extremely long hours for basically no wages - I mean, can you call $43 a monthly wage?

Labour conditions and security measures in these factories are barely every up to standard. Due to short-term contracts with the clothing retailers, the factories are not certain whether they can afford making investments to upgrade their facilities and improve workers' safety.

Why these factories exist is because people all over the world have become slaves to money. Money decides whether you have food, a roof over your head, an education, a life. The same goes for people in Bangladesh - except, there is not much money to go around - therefore, anything they can get their hands on, they'll take - therefore, implicitly accepting a life of slavery, because in some twisted way: slavery is seen as better than death.

But what is more - these types of factories exist because clothing retailers that sell clothes at cheap prices, simply need slaves to make them in order to turn a profit. The true cost of the clothes you buy is not reflected in their cheap prices. The true cost of your clothes includes everything labourers such as the factory workers in Bangladesh have to give up to make these clothes for you in the worst conditions as this event shows.

The retail shops are able to escape accountability due to the claim that they often don't know which factories make their clothes. The simplest lie in the book: "But I didn't know!"

NeoAparheid not only refers to the fact that the money decides what you have access to and that the elite will do anything to manipulate the flow of money to their own advantage - but also to the fact that those who have will distance themselves from those who have not - all trying to wash the blood off their hands through ignorance. We're all familiar with the experience of turning our gaze from a beggar on the street just to not face the disgrace of inequality that is accepted in the world and how we have absolutely no valid justification as to why we have enough money to get by and even afford a level of luxury, while others have nothing at all. The same happens when we buy cheap clothes in a shop. We revel in an experience of excitement and victory - because 'my friends will LOVE THESE and that was such a GOOD DEAL!' But we conveniently ignore the obvious truth in looking at the physical labour that is involved in the production of the clothes as well as getting them all the way to you - and then comparing these physical facts to the cheap price - there is an obvious discrepancy where you're not paying the full price to properly cover all the costs - and thus - someone else is paying for your clothes - not because they want to, but because they have no other choice.

Turning a blind eye doesn't make the problem go away. Donating to charity doesn't make the problem go away. The only way to solve the problem is through radically redesigning our economic and political system that adheres to a Constitution that ensures all interactions and decisions are always conducted according to the Principle of Equality and What's Best for All.

Day 122: Poor Villagers Cursed with Riches - the AMAZON

Allow me to introduce you to Sani Isla. Deep into the heart of the Amazon rainforest, you can still find untouched land. Sani Isla is a 70 000 ha area of such land, inhabited by a community of only 422 locals. The biodiversity in Sani Isla is mind-blowing - to give you some reference: scientists say that 1ha in this region contains a greater biodiversity than the whole of North America together! Talk about paradise...

Two generations ago the locals were simply living their merry lives, hunting with blowpipes to provide for themselves. Currently, the locals are engaged in promoting ecotourism, trying to raise their income through an eco-lodge, where tourists come and are educated about life in the rainforest.

Sounds lovely, yes - but here's the thing:

Oil firm PetroAmazonas is pressuring the locals to grant them exploration rights in the area. In return, they promised the villagers cash, new schools, a new eco-lodge, better healtchare and university education for their children - and 'all' they have to do is accept plans for a seismic survey.

But obviously - everyone knows, that if oil is indeed found, the activities won't stay with just 'peaceful' exploring, they will take it to the next level, sweet-talk the villagers again to be able to also extract the oil, so that they can actually sell the stuff. The firm promised to 'minimise' the impact on the environment - but realistically: they'd be cutting paths and building roads, which leads more people to the area, which leads to more land being destroyed for agricultural purposes. Also - the freshwater ecosystems will be polluted, compromising the integrity of the forest's support system.

The locals are very tempted to agree with the deal, beacause their eco-lodge is not raising enough income. But imagine what is asked of them: to give up one of the few places in the world that has not yet been fucked up by people. An Ecuadorean shaman and his British wife are going to door-to-door trying to dissuade the villagers from giving up their land. And that's all the resistance this Oil Company is facing. Where is the international community, where are all the governments, where are all the NGOs saying: ENOUGH! FUCK OFF! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! No - just two people... kill them and nothing more stands in the firm's way - and there actually is a growing number of reports of activists being killed in the area.

I mean - this is an issue that concerns everyone - the WHOLE WORLD - how is it possible that a company is legally able to just walk up to the villagers and say 'look, give us your land and we'll give you all this stuff in return'. This land is not only to do with the villagers and not only to do with the firm - it is part of the world's ecosystem and one of the last examples we have left of what nature is supposed to be like in its fullest glory.

And - how brainwashed by money are we if, in order to make money, we'll maim the Earth - destroying a peace of paradise, instead of just investing in alternative fucking power-sources. It's not that difficult! And if we all just stop producing 50 variations of the same thing, instead of just one: the best one - we'll save so much on electricity, we won't need to go and dig up the Amazon forest to find more oil. Really - how stupid are we?!

The couple are loaning the villagers money to keep the eco-lodge afloat. It makes sense, of course, that if the villagers were supported through having their basic requirements met, as the firm is promising to do - then they wouldn't be tempted to consider their offer. Now, because the villagers are struggling in a capitalistic world, where they are not managing to meet ends - they carry the burden of having to choose between the welfare of their own children, or attempting to preserve a piece of the world that the world in its entirety needs.

In an Equal Money System - everyone would be taken care of, and as such, no-one can be bribed or pressured with promises of wealth - because everyone will already be wealthy - as such, each person can stand strong in not accepting or allowing anything less than what's best for all. And of course, in an Equal Money System - the firm wouldn't have been looking for oil in the first place - efforts would, instead, be made to develop renewable power-sources, because no profit can be made from oil extraction. So - this whole scenario would just not occur...

What are we waiting for? The rainforest can't hold out much longer...

Day 116: The Apple doesn’t Fall Far from the Tree

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see, realise and understand – that judging the third world for their ‘corrupt’ and ‘inefficient’ ways – is totally hypocritical, since they are like a child, whose tendencies are the result of their upbringing by the parent – where the child will merely copy the parents behaviour and perpetuate it even more – and thus it should be of no surprise that the Third World is acting the way it is in the socio-political economic arena, as they are merely acting out what has been unto them as the years of direct exploitation by the West

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that forcing a country into a particular way of doing things, while it was taught over the years to do otherwise – is not effective

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that the Third World will never act in a responsible way, as long as we do not acknowledge our own responsibility within the creation of the Third World as it exists today – where we accepted and allowed ourselves to create a fuck – and where instead of taking responsibility for our fuck-up, we’ve merely specified and perfected our ways of exploitation and abuse within sophisticated trade mechanisms – and so as long as the parent remains an abusive fuck, the child will not know any better

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that the Third World is a direct reflection of the First World as the First World was in the position of being the parent of the Third World within taking in the point of governance – where the Third World is just copying how governance was done before them = in completely corruption and self-interest

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that as long as we do not change our ways and remain self-interested and exploitative to others – they will never take us seriously, as we are clearly being hypocritical within demanding of them to be responsible and respect human rights, while we blatantly disregard them – of which they are the direct result

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that if you go and steal everything from someone and them leave them with everything within their grasp, that it is no surprise that they will take what they can and hold on to it no matter what out of fear of ending up with nothing again – as is currently the case in the Third World

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that our ways haven’t changed – but that we’ve merely overcomplicated and sophisticated our ways to such an extent that we actually believe ourselves to be benevolent – where our intricate ways cover up our inherent malevolence

Day 115: Like Father, Like Son

 I’ve been doing some reading on the political development of countries post-independence. What is interesting is that the West is very much into getting these ‘less developed countries’ to a democratic state of affairs, but it just doesn’t seem to want to work. While I was reading, the point opened up that in essence the West was like a ‘Parent’, which imposed their ways unto these countries as a ‘child’ and where these countries simply observed how things were being done and how things could be done.

So is it really a surprise that there is so much corruption, dictatorship, war, disregard for human rights in these Third World Countries? I mean, all they are doing is copying the parent as those who were governing before them, which was the West. What they saw was corruption, exploitation, abuse, war, death, violence, disregard for human rights – all for the sake of self-interest as making a quick buck at the expense of many.

So what is going on in these countries as the corruption, exploitation and general disregard for Life – is merely a reflection of patterns patterned in by the parents. So, can you really blame these countries for acting the way they do? For not having a democracy? For having military rule? All they ever saw was people coming in and with force as violence and coercion, take the resources from them for their own benefit, and saw how easy it was to get what you want as wealth, if you use force and corruption. So then when the West left, all they did was copy what was done to get what they want. I mean, for a long time they were living in misery and poverty, and now they suddenly had a chance to get the abundant lifestyle their oppressors had. Once they had the power, wealth and influence they were so long deprived of – they were afraid of going back to life of poverty and misery – and so they did everything they could to remain in power.


What is going on in the World and the things we don’t like to see and talk about, as all those apparent ‘negative things’ which make us feel down – like poverty, starvation, misery, child soldiers, corruption, abuse – are really the direct consequence of who we have accepted and allowed ourselves to become, where our actions as self-interest have created a little monster that we can’t seem to stop – yet this little monster is us, just a more direct, obvious version. All we’ve done as the West is “civilianised”’ our exploitative ways, where we refined them and make them look so sophisticated, intelligent and complex – so that at first sight, it looks like we’re doing some cool shit – but once you look behind the curtain as the sophisticated charade – we are still doing the exact same thing we’ve been doing for centuries = abusing other for our own ends.


It is time to take self-responsibility and wake up from the illusion that we are good, civilised people – the amount of suffering in the world as never been this high through the whole of history, this again just shows our process of evilution. I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to define myself and my ways as ‘civilised’ and ‘best’ while my actions show a completely different story

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that ‘I know best’ and within that impose my ideas/beliefs/opinions upon others/whole countries – in the belief that because ‘it worked for me it must work for you’

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that ‘prosperous’ parts of the world are only in such a position due to a past of extreme oppression and exploitation

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that the ‘wealth’ of the so called ‘prosperous’ nations in the world is built on the past as years of exploitation and stealing and so I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that I cannot expect other countries to become prosperous like me – because I am not allowing them the same path of exploitation that I / we have followed in the past – where our richness is based on their poverty within having taking advantage of the ‘weaker’ countries for years upon years – and then blame these poor countries for the position they are in for not being ‘willed enough’ – while all the while they are in a weak/vulnerable position because those who were better off took advantage of them within draining them of their resources and putting into place structures which many years after ‘independence’ still have disastrous consequences/effects

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that if these weak/poor countries just adopt my philosophy they will be okay – without seeing and realising that they are finding themselves in a completely different position/context since they do not get to exploit/abuse others for their own economic gain – which is why enforcing an opinion as ideology unto them will never better their situation

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that an exploitative method of gain can only work for some and not for all – the exploiter needs someone to be exploited – and so it is not practically possible for all to exploit because there is no-one left to be exploited – and within that our current economic within adopting exploitative methods is only ever keeping the exploited in place

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that the problem will remain as long as one exploit the other and as long as one does not distribute resources equally – some will always be better off than others which will only further tip the scale

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that nothing has changed in terms of how we deal / treat other people – where previously it was very direct and in your face, where we now simply moved to more ‘subtle’ indirect ways of exploitation – but the exploitation is still here


I commit myself to show that the idea of what is ‘civilised’ is completely fucked up, as it has always been used from a starting point of superiority towards others and used as a justification for abuse

I commit myself to show that the reasoning of ‘it worked for me so it must work for you’ does not apply if one does not take into consideration all the factors/dimensions which contributed to having it ‘made it work’ for you and only consider a fraction and then only impose this fraction within self-interest

I commit myself to show that out of proportion prosperity can only come about by out of proportion poverty

I commit myself to show that how things are currently presented as how things apparently work /operate does not agree with what actually happened in history

I commit myself to show that an exploitative way of life can only work for some at the expense of others

I commit myself to show that the solution is not for everyone to become exploiters but for everyone to be treated equally such as proposed in the Equal Money System

I commit myself to show that no change has yet taken place, and that we’ve simply further specified and perfected our methods of exploitations to make them less obvious yet at the same time more effective

Let’s have a look at why many countries who are under Structural Adjustment Programs, came to turn to international institutions like the IMF and the World Bank.

Most of these Third World Countries had been previously colonised by the West.
During this time, the colonised countries’ existence was only relevant to the Colonising country in so far that it could use it for resource extraction or trade benefits. During the colonial rule, a lot of changes took place in terms of the colonies’ infrastructures. Infrastructures were built in relation to the country’s function, and like we just mentioned, this function was to serve the colonising country.

So any and all infrastructures built in these countries, were built to direct the flow of resources towards the West. Most of the time, these infrastructures were focused on only a few goods, like cocoa, tobacco, coffee.

So what happened after independence?

During the colonial rule, all these countries were submerged into the international economic/money system – they were now part of the game. When the colonial rulers left, they had no choice but to continue playing the game – the ties were already too much ingrained. So now they had to come up with a plan to be able to continue to play the game. Unfortunately, the only infrastructures in place in these countries in terms of international trade, were those to serve the West. So even though the colonial rulers left – these colonised countries still continued to play the exact same role after colonisation. Considering that there were many of these countries, and many of them focused/specialised on the same goods/crops – they were now competing with each other to get their goods sold to the West, which forced them to lower their prices as much as possible just to get their stuff sold.

Previously during the colonial rule, the occupiers would finance much of the country’s development that would further trade. Now that they had left, these third world countries were left with nothing. The only thing they could do to ‘kickstart’ their economies = was to borrow money.

Every since then, many of these countries went into Debt and have so far not been able to repay it.

The loans they get now, are conditional as seen in Day 98 and Day 106 – where not only these countries are at the mercy of the West economically – but now also have to conform politically. So in essence, nothing has really changed. Just through money, a new form of ‘indirect’ colonialism replaced the older ‘direct’ colonialism – but countries are still being exploited.

Look at it simplistically:

The West comes and colonises Third World Countries. They take their resource and built stuff which only serves the West. Then they go away and leave the Third World Countries alone, and let them plunge into massive Debt just for the sake of survival. But the only reason why they had to go into Debt, was because of the actions of the West.

I mean, it just doesn’t make any sense!

We call ourselves ‘civilised’ and ‘evolved’ – but we’ve really not changed at all, we’ve just gotten better at covering up what we do and make it sound more acceptable – while it is totally NOT.

Day 27: Human Trafficking Concerns You Too!

“Article 3, paragraph (a) of the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons defines Trafficking in Persons as the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs” – Excerpt from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime website
I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that human trafficking is not an isolated problem – but a global phenomenon where each one plays to role of victim and abuser

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise – that any person who works for money to survive, is in fact part of the human trafficking system, as they are being coerced and threatened with loss of money and thus death if they do not LABOUR to EARN their living

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that any person being in a position where they are forced to do labour in order to get money to survive – is in fact part of the human trafficking system

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe and perceive human trafficking to be an isolated issue in “some parts of the world” – instead of seeing and realising that human trafficking is everywhere as the very system  of exploitation we live through and as

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that I am in fact part of the Human Trafficking phenomenon – as I am part of a world Economic System where I can only live and survive if I serve the Money God

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that since we currently do not value Humans as Life --- but only value humans in terms of their wealth and ability to accumulate more wealth – we have manifested a global human trafficking system where we transport, distribute humans as human capital in the same way that we will transport, distribute and exchange money

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that we all form part of human trafficking as we are all in the servitude of money – instead of money being a tool that serves Life

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise – that since everyone in this world is controlled by and through money – everyone is in fact within a position of slavery – making everyone part of the global human trafficking system called CAPITALISM

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have become so used to our current world economic system that I do not even see and realise that I am in fact not free but a slave to money where all are forced and coerced to compromise themselves physically and mentally in order to survive in a world where only money is considered to be of value

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that the current global economic system is not here to support me as Life – as I have been blinded to this fact through having accepted and allowed myself to be brainwashed and entertained with television and junk food – creating an artificial high which makes one not question one’s position in the world and believe that everything is “okay” while it’s not

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that as long as humans are moved through fear and incentive – there is no real freedom and all are just slaves in the global system of human trafficking


I commit myself to the end of all human trafficking – and thus the end of the current global economic system as we know it

I commit myself to expose the widespread of existence of human trafficking and show how everyone plays a role within it

I commit myself to change the current world economic system of exploitation and abuse to a world economic system of support as the Equal Money System – where money will be the tool which serves Life and not the other way around

I commit myself to show that one cannot expect the change the world by only tackling “one issue” – but that the whole world as we’ve accepted and allowed it to be established IS the issue – and that thus the only solution is to change the whole world system – as tackling only “one point” is in fact self-deception to make one feel good and does not bring about any actual change
