I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to see and realise the insanity of how the economy works if a country wherein half the population is starving, exports 65% of its food produce to richer nations.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that the rules by which the game of economics is currently played is actually killing billions through hunger and starvation because it makes more 'economic sense' for local farmers in developing countries to sell their crops to other countries that can actually pay the higher price of their crops than to feed the local starving community.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that donating food to developing countries does not serve them and only serves to suppress my own guilt for accepting an economic system to create a situation where people starve in a world of plenty - because poor people will accept donated food or food that is sold at a very low price from donating countries rather than to buy food produced by local farmers, which completely destroys the local agricultural economy, leaving the developing countries dependent upon the rich to feed them, while there is sufficient and rich arable land to cultivate their own food and farmers with the know-how to do it.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that in my attempt to suppress my guilt through a quick-fix of donating food rather than looking for and supporting long-lasting sustainable solutions - I am actually killing people.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to believe that donating food to the poor starving children is a noble act because I believe that this is what starving people need - without looking at the actual implications and consequences of food aid and how it merely perpetuates dependency on rich countries and therefore perpetuates underdevelopment, including poverty and starvation.
"Some years back, a keynote speaker at the International Famine Centre at Cork, Ireland, detailed how maize was loaded on ships bound for Britain at the height of the great Irish potato famine that killed some 1.5 million people more than 150 years ago. He paused and then lamented: “I wonder what kind of people lived at that time who were not even remotely offended at the sight of millions dying of hunger in the same village where the ships were being loaded.”"
— Devinder Sharma, Africa’s Tragedy; Famine as Commerce, November 10, 2002
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to see and realise the insanity of the current economic system if a country where 1.5 million people are dying of hunger, loads ships filled with maize and exports them to Britain.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that the same kind of people live in our time under the same economic principles, where countries with starving populations export their food produce to other nations because the own starving population is too poor to pay for it.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to force poor countries to remove any import tarrifs and trade barriers in order to receive financial assistance in the form of loans to aid their economy and then dump excess food produce in those countries, destroying the local food markets and aiding only the donor and exporting countries.
"Of the 830 million hungry people worldwide, a third of them live in India. Yet in 1999, the Indian government had 10 million tons of surplus food grains: rice, wheat, and so on. In the year 2000, that surplus increased to almost 60 million tons — most of it left in the granaries to rot. Instead of giving the surplus food to the hungry, the Indian government was hoping to export the grain to make money. It also stopped buying grain from its own farmers, leaving them destitute. The farmers, who had gone into debt to purchase expensive chemical fertilizers and pesticides on the advice of the government, were now forced to burn their crops in their fields.
At the same time, the government of India was buying grain from Cargill and other American corporations, because the aid India receives from the World Bank stipulates that the government must do so. This means that today India is the largest importer of the same grain it exports. It doesn’t make sense — economic or otherwise."
— Anuradha Mittal, True Cause of World Hunger, Institute for Food and Development Policy, February 2002
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise and see that starvation and hunger is not a result of a lack of food, but a lack of money and a sly game of politics that serves the economic powers in the world.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that charity and food donations will never stop world hunger - only a new economic system wherein each one is provided for unconditionally as the starting-point for the distribution of resources will make an end to this atrocity.
I commit myself to show how charity and food donations to poor countries don't help poor countries get richer, but instead dooms them into a downward spiral of dependency and helplessness.
I commit myself to show the hypocrisy of rich nations for demanding of developing countries to remove all trade barriers as a way to stimulate economic growth, while those rich nations themselves used extreme protectionism to gain the wealth they have today.
I commit myself to show the insanity of the economic system where in order to survive, farmers sell their crops to nations who don't need them while allowing the local population to starve.
I commit myself to show how slavery is very much a contemporary problem where poor countries are literally economically enslaved to the rich to do their bidding.
I commit myself to supporting and establishing a new economic system where common sense replaces insanity through founding the economy on the principle of what's best for all rather than 'every man for themselves'.

Day 19 - Starvation is Murder - Part 2: Feedback
This blog is a response to a comment made on "Day 17: Starvation is Murder".
Thanks for a really interesting article and really highlights how possible it could be to eradicate poverty and the suffering that comes with it. I wonder if it would be useful to highlight which are public and private expenditures as public expenditure can be directed from one thing to another with policy and the amount stays the same as it come from a fixed source eg. tax. Whereas private expenditure is often individual and variable, for example if everyone stopped buying cosmetics everyone in the cosmetics and attached industries would lose there jobs, stop paying tax, take up welfare/services and so there would not necessarily be the same amount of money left to transfer to other more important things. Anyway I would be really interested to hear your thought on this
It would make a difference in terms of where the money comes from -- public or private expenditure -- as you pointed out. Though, within this blog I merely touched upon one of the many aspects within our current economic system which reveals the values we as a society place upon certain outcomes or goods -- which when reflecting upon it, are quite irrational from a broader perspective when looking at the current state of the world, and the abhorrent conditions many find themselves within.
This in itself is however not a complete solution, as now obviously those with low income / no income still dont have the means of accessing the goods and services they need/want. For this a system ought to be in place, where the Basic Income Grant is a cool first point of implementation, to provide those people with a disposable income. Such a system would however still not be a permanent solution, as there are still so many other points in place in our current economic system which would ultimately render this change ineffective -- yet it's a good start to begin with.
The solution that I propose is that of the Equal Money System, which is a more broader encompassing perspective/solution to our current economic system (than for instance the BIG porposal). You can read up about it here: www.equalmoney.org and feel free to join the forum @ www.equalmoney.org/forumfor discussion.

Day 18: Who's Got the Most to Lose - The Rich or The Poor?
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to believe that it is righteous that the owner of a company gets to make profit from running a business because he deserves it.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to believe that the owner of a company deserves to make profit from this business because in starting this company, he invested his money and herein took an apparently very courageous risk and should therefore be rewarded with profits.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to not realise that the person investing to start a mining company, though he bets with a lot or all of his money, still has less to lose than the miner who might lose his life working in the mine - and therefore, that there is no rationale that justifies profit.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to actually believe that the person who puts all his money on the line possibly loses more than a person putting his life on the line - and I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to herein justify a company making their employees work in crappy conditions in order to lower costs and increase profits, while the employees' lives are increasingly at stake.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to actually believe that the boss sitting at his desk making phonecalls deserves to get a higher income than the workers at the lowest level who do the actual hard, physical labour.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that if I want to pursue the line of thought as justification of 'those who earn more money do so because they deserve it', then all the workers doing the actual hard physical labour should be the ones who get the highest incomes, because they do the jobs those with higher incomes don't want to do - indicating that they are giving more of themselves in their job.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to accept that so many laws and regulations exist to protect the rich and their wealth from the poor, while mostly the rich are born rich and have therefore barely deserved any of their wealth.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to deliberately exclude the poor from becoming wealthier by making capital a prerequisite for making money and accumulating wealth - and on top of that making sure that poor people can't get loans to get capital with to be able to participate and become wealthier in the economy.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to claim that the poor are in their position because of laziness, while actually deliberately creating the barriers that keeps them from any significant participation in the economy as a strategy to rule out competition.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that as long as we as humans compete with each other in any aspect of our lives and as long as we are afraid of coming out the short end in losing everything we have, we will never live in a world where poverty is eradicated, because poverty is merely a consequential outflow of the designs of competition and fear of loss.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that each one requires to investigate their life and see where it is that they are participating in competition and fear of loss, and where they try to take out competition and remain 'on top of them' in the nastiest of ways, if we ever want to see a change in this world.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to believe that competition and fear of loss are part of 'what makes us human' and that we cannot live without such experiences, or that we would no longer be ourselves.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that competition and fear of loss cause consequences in our and others' lives of suffering, pain and misery.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that I can never lose myself and therefore, it is absolutely possible to stop the habit, need and desire to compete with others and to give up fear of loss and still be here.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that self-improvement should be about self, for self and not about trying to be better than and outshine others - self-improvement is about correcting the relationship one has with oneself in a way that there is no conflict with self, in self, towards self and self can live fully in every moment.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to define self-improvement in relation to how well I perform in comparison to others and use others and what others think of me as a benchmark for where I need to go or what I need to change, instead of realising and understanding that self-improvement is about looking at where I am not satisified with me, equal and one with me and to correct those points accordingly and where then, others who have already walked the particular point I'm busy correcting can assist and support in being an example where I then equalises myself to others, but not from the starting point of trying to outrace them or trying to outshine them.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that we cannot walk this process of change on our own and need to be able to stand as a group of equals, as one, to see the change we need in the world - and herein competition is unacceptable.
I commit myself to stop all desires, needs, wants, tendencies to compete with others in and as myself.
I commit myself to stop all forms of fear of loss within and as myself.
I commit myself to learn to work together as a group of equals as one, instead of against each other.
I commit myself to show how the current economic system works like a casino where each one places their bets, in terms of their capital, their life, their time, their efforts, their health - and where some can continue playing and others just lose it all.
I commit myself to the implementation of an Equal Money System where each everyone is always a winner and no-one loses out.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to believe that the owner of a company deserves to make profit from this business because in starting this company, he invested his money and herein took an apparently very courageous risk and should therefore be rewarded with profits.

Day 17: Starvation is Murder
The following numbers show the global priority spending for the year 1998
Global Priority | $U.S. Billions |
Military spending in the world | 780 |
Narcotics drugs in the world | 400 |
Alcoholic drinks in Europe | 105 |
Cigarettes in Europe | 50 |
Business entertainment in Japan | 35 |
Pet foods in Europe and the United States | 17 |
Perfumes in Europe and the United States | 12 |
Ice cream in Europe | 11 |
Cosmetics in the United States | 8 |
This forms a total of 1 418 Billion US Dollars
Now have a look at the following table, which represents what was estimated as additional costs to achieve universal access to basic social services in all developing countries
Global Priority | $U.S. Billions |
Basic health and nutrition | 13 |
Reproductive health for all women | 12 |
Water and sanitation for all | 9 |
Basic education for all | 6 |
With a total of 40 Billion US Dollars
Obviously -- we have got our priorities all mixed up. Even with just a simple point like eliminating Perfume and Cosmetics in the world -- we can already have the job halfway done to having everyone's basic needs met. If we eliminate military, drugs and alcohol -- we can pretty much assure that everyone's living standard is well above having basic needs met -- everyone would be living a life of worth - a life everyone would enjoy living.
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that starvation is in fact murder
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that failure to address basic living needs of the whole of the population living on Earth can only be a reflection of deliberate negligence of Life on Earth
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that the current state of the world and the manifestation of a majority living in misery is in fact a deliberate choice
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see beyond the Veil of apparent 'goodness' within human beings and see the abusive monstrosity we actually exist as
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have created a world where perfume, cosmetics, ice cream, entertainment, alcohol, drugs and weapons have more value than Human Life
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have created a world where all priorities are mixed up and in reverse -- where our industries and services focus on catering entertainment for a few instead of catering basic necessities to ALL
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that the only common sense way of setting one's priorities is to FIRST take care of all basic needs of everyone and then SECONDLY only look at entertainment
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have created a world of pure evil
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that no goodness can exist in a world where the majority suffers and where this can EASILY be fixed
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that any inaction towards changing the current world system to a structure of support for all Life is in fact criminal
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that there is not one good reason why an Equal Money System should not be implemented
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that if I resist an Equal Money System and prefer the current system over an Equal Money System -- I am in fact preferring Abuse over Life
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that an Equal Money System is the only solution to rectify the mess we've made on Earth
I commit myself to expose the murderous consequences of our current world Economic System and consumption habits in the name of Profit and the Pursuit of Happiness
I commit myself to expose that anyone favouring the current World Economic System is in fact favouring Abuse over Life
I commit myself to show that any failure to act or address the abhorrent lack of access to basic goods and services within our world is in fact deliberate abuse and is only a reflection of the evil we allow within us
I commit myself to show that an Equal Money System is in fact possible and that it does not take a lot to cater for everyone's basic needs and that all will still be able to enjoy a more than modest life
I commit myself to show that any fear in relation to an Equal Money System is in fact irrational and tied to personal self-interest over the interest of what is Best for All Life
I commit myself to the redistribution of resources so they may reach everyone in all the corners of the world and not just a select few as the image below clearly indicates

Day 16: Live When you Die!
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to believe that I require to earn my living.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to believe that I need to earn the right to live from a system that supposedly provides human beings with the necessities to survive.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that it doesn't make any sense that I am already alive, yet for some reason still have to earn my living.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to never even question why it is that people have to work and earn money to be able to get the things they need to survive.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to ever question why we are indebted to a system of life-support that we have to pay off for most of our live and then eventually, when we're old and our bodies are deteriorating, getting closer and closer to death - that's the time when we're cut free and cut loose and allowed to just live whatever is left of our lives, that is if we even make it to that age and if the company we worked for our entire life didn't go bankrupt at some point.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to ever stand still and wonder if I even agree with the principle of having to earn your living - but just accept it as the way it is and the way it should be.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to justify a system of enslavement through making statements like "Well, if I had no job, I would be bored all the time - I wouldn't know what to do with myself".
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that, being born in a system where working forms the main part of a human being's life, we've orientated who we are towards our job, we've defined ourselves according to our job and we've started using words like 'making a career' to make ourselves feel like we're really doing something constructive with our lives, while really we're just a slave to a system that won't care if we're dead or alive - and therefore are forced to submit to its rules and be servants to this system in order to survive.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise how ridiculous it is to speak of free will while we live in a system where each one is forced to, in essence, sell themselves, the biggest part of their life, to a system - forced to work - in order to survive.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that freedom cannot exist if one must earn their living.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to question the labour system in and of this world until it is too late, until I am retiring and look back and see that my youth is gone, my strength is gone, my will to live is drained and I am physically incapable of living what's left of my life to the fullest - realising that I've wasted it all while slaving away for a system that doesn't even care about life.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that because we were born in a system where we are required to work to survive, we're unable to even imagine what it means to live without worrying about survival, without worrying about being fired, without worrying of getting through the next day, without worrying about retirement funds, without worrying about making enough money, without worrying about your children's college funds, without worrying about the future - but instead actually able to be here, with self, finding out what it means to live, what it is you enjoy, what life has to offer.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that the creation of a system of slavery is a manifestation of our unwillingness to give - because if we were willing to give to one another what is needed for each one to live a dignified life, we wouldn't ask for anyone to work for money.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that prostitutes are merely a literal manifestation of who and what we all are in this world - selling ourselves for money, prostituting ourselves for money, whoring ourselves for money in order to survive.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to delude my children into believing that living in this world is fun, by giving them a few years in toddler school where they get to play all day, yet slowly but surely start taking that away from them and start introducing the knowledge, information and exercises that will enable them to become effective workers for the system - all the while pretending that being a grown-up is so fascinating and so much fun, while secretly everyone longs to be a child again, when we were not yet aware of the evil in man.
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to trade life for the vileness of survival.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to be unable and unwilling to give to another what I would receive out of fear of losing out and coming out at the shorter end.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that if everyone thinks in terms of maximising their own personal benefits, we'll never be able to manifest heaven on earth.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to preach words to children of being generous and sharing, while not living those words myself.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that we just cannot continue as we are because if we don't realise that we're all really equal and one - we'll continue to destroy ourselves as we try to root out our competition, not realising that the only one we're fighting and competing with, is ourselves.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that we're all equally fucked as we're all equally dependent on the same system - and so we might as well work as equals together to manifest a different world for ourselves and for our children.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to, through years of slaving away in the system, give up on life as I slowly but surely started accepting and allowing myself to believe that this is all i can be, that this is all I'll ever be - becoming a completely submissive and apathic slave that has forgotten that the word life used to have a different meaning.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that in the attempt to protect our children from the evil of man by keeping them ignorant about the state of the world and what's awaiting them in their lifetime, we're actually allowing the system to continue exploiting life, since by the time our children realise what's going on, they'll be stuck in the same system, having kids of their own they try to protect - and so the cycle continuous where understanding always comes too late and no one has the ability to make a stand for life.
I commit myself to show how we've utterly and completely given up on ourselves and on life through accepting to work for a lifetime in order to be able to survive and 'life freely' once I'm old and worn out.
I commit myself to free mankind from slavery through establishing an equal money system where work is an expression and not a necessary evil.
I commit myself to educate human beings about the system we currently living so that they are aware of what it is they're walking into before it is too late and one has completely submitted to the system and given up on life.
I commit myself to remind people that we're not here to survive and that trading survival for life is unacceptable, that it is less than who we are and that there is no valid reason for accepting an existence of slavery and prostitution.
I commit myself to end the need to work in order to be able to acquire and access the goods and services a human being needs in order to life a dignified life.
I commit myself to give as I would receive so that all may live in equality and trust of one another, living the statement of loving they neighbour as thyself.
I commit myself to live the words I preach and testing my living application before I speak.
I commit myself to stand up from the ashes and re-birth myself to become the living expression of generosity, of care, of commitment, of understanding, of consideration, of equality, of respect, of responsibility, of accountability, of passion, of engagement, of self-reflection, of courage, of strength, of discipline, of enjoyment, of expression, of consistency, of support, of assistance, of directiveness, of life.

Day 15: SAPs: Structural Adjustment Programs or Silent Annihilation of the Poor?
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise the consequences due to badly designed policies such as Structural Adjustment Programs where the Developed Countries apparently do the Lesser Developed Countries (LDCs) a favour through granting them a loan, where a whole bunch of conditionalities are attached to this loan which actually on work in the favour of the "Developed Countries"
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that in the current world economic system the lifestyle and consumption habits of the rich nations are only sustainable at the expense of the continued deterioration of living standards of the poor nations
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to impose rules unto other which I do not follow myself such as demanding LDCs to drop their protectionist barriers, tariffs and quotas while I as the Developed Countries will maintain and even raise more barriers to "protect" myself/ourselves from the cheap goods coming from poor countries
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that the hypocrisy of economists all around the globe is costing millions of lives
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have created a world where 21 000 children die on Earth EVERY DAY
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to make an issue of the thousands of children dying every day
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have created a world where money is more important than the lives of others -- where the media will not broadcast what is going on day in and day out in terms of people dying where a child dies every 4 seconds yet it is not considered news worthy
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have created a world where humans will only 'move' when they are triggered through "sensationalism" -- and thus the media and the news will not broadcast the thousands of people dying every day but will broadcast conflicts, earthquakes, war and tsunamis -- and within that I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that the 21 000 children (and that is only children under 5!) dying every day, is the equivalent to a 2011 Libya conflict-scale death toll happening every day, equivalent to as 2010 Haiti earthquake occurring every 10 days, a 2004 Asian Tsunami occurring every 11 days, an Iraq-scale death toll every 19-46 days -- yet somehow these sporadic events are more newsworthy and more "sensational" and the death and despair happening --every--single--day
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that I am an accomplice in child murder every moment of every day as long as the current world economic system is maintained and supported -- as the current world economic system does not care about poverty, hunger and disease when they are happening to the poor -- which turn out to be the majority of the population
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have created a world where 2.5 billion people lack access to improved sanitation -- while others have their bathrooms made out of gold
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have created a world where 1 billion children are deprived of one or more services essential to survival and development -- while others have more money than they can ever spend
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have created a world of polarity where 1.1 billion people are underweight and at the same time 1.1 billion people are overweight -- indicating that there's some serious shit going on in the world
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have created and allowed a world to exist where 40-50% of all food for harvest never gets eaten -- while more than half of the population on Earth does not get their basic food requirements met
I commit myself to change the current world economic system of murder and genocide to a world economic system of LIFE
I commit myself to expose the horror and atrocities committed daily through simple acceptance and allowance of the status quo
I commit myself to expose the media for the money-grabbing industry it is -- an industry which is not interested in truly reporting the state of the world but only wants to broadcast "News" as "Sensationalism" and since the continued suffering of our fellow human beings in the world is not "new" anymore it is simply neglected
I commit myself to the transformation of the media and "watchdogs" of the world to a media which truly report the events occurring around the world without being selective about that is broadcasted based on the motivation of money
I commit myself to expose how the current world economic system where the Money God rules, demands a child sacrifice every 4 seconds which is willingly offered by us collectively through our acceptances and allowances
I commit myself to expose the evil that has become of us humans and the extent that we will abuse one another in the name of Money and Dreams
I commit myself to a New world economic system as Equal Money where all humans basic needs will be cared for -- out with the golden toilets!
I commit myself to the re-evaluation of all economic policies as they were only ever done from the starting point of self-interest and greed and NEVER within the best interest of the whole
I commit myself to the establishment of a World Economic System which is Best for All Life
I forgive myself that I haven't accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that in the current world economic system the lifestyle and consumption habits of the rich nations are only sustainable at the expense of the continued deterioration of living standards of the poor nations

Day 14: Did God Fail First-Year Economics?
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to ask myself the question of how the current economic system is compatible with a belief in a God.I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that if God created the world and has a divine plan - then he didn't do his homework very well because anyone having studied economics for even just a year can see that the very principles upon which the current capitalistic system is founded, will create massive suffering, pain, disease, poverty, hunger and death if implemented in economics.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise the basic common sense that a system of competition will always create winners and losers, but because everyone is so deluded into thinking and believing that they will be the winners, because mom and dad said that we're so special, and so we don't care about what it means to be a loser.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to believe in a God who plays an economic game where all players must compete with each other and where those who lose must pay with their life.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that if a God exists that is omnipotent, then surely he would make sure that all goods and services are distributed in such a way that everyone is supported in their livelihood and that people aren't enslaved to a system to which they owe most of their years of life in terms of owing the system their labour and only when their debt has been paid, are they allowed to 'live freely' as they are old and retire - and that if an omnipotent God does indeed exist while allowing such abuse, then surely he is an evil fucker.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that the only reason I would justify the belief in a good God that allows humanity to dig its own grave while pulling the Earth, the animals and plants with it - is that if a God exists that allows all of this, then surely it's okay to abuse - therefore the belief in God is a point of self-manipulation where we abdicate responsibility for what we're allowing - because 'hey, God says it's fine - that means I can just sit back and relax'.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to put my trust and faith in an economic system that will apparently - while based on principles of self-interested individuals competing which each other to satisfy their own wants, needs and desires - miraculously bring about a world that is truly best for all.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to deceive the poor by making them believe that the God of the capitalistic system will save them - all they need to do is submit to the one God entirely and completely - obey his commands and if they are truly faithful servants, they will be allowed into the Heaven of wealth.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to sacrifice the poor on the Altar of the God of the Capitalistic System to keep God satisfied and willing to provide for my standards of living.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to participate in the race of the human race, trying to be the fastest, the smartest, the best, the most devious, the most vicious, in order to be the winner and end up at the top, so that God may notice me and so that I can be one of the chosen ones - blessed by God's love and almighty power.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to be proud of my children as I introduce them into the religion of Money by having them walk through all the ceremonial rituals of saving money, buying toys and sweets, getting a bank account, getting a degree, getting a job and getting a loan to buy a house or a car.
I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise the similarity of religion and economics in that both seem to be 'so much more' and 'so much above me', where I just nod and agree while not understanding a word of what seems to be a completely different language.
I commit myself to taking responsibility for the world and what we have accepted and allowed to be done unto it in creating and participating in the capitalistic system - and stop justifying all the suffering and pain in the world through hiding behind a God or a Higher Power.
I commit myself to the designing and implementing of an Equal Money System that is founded upon principles of Equality and achieving outcomes that are Best for All - eradicating any need for competition, so that we can move passed animosity and actually get to know our neighbour.
I commit myself to the ending of slavery through ending the capitalistic system of lifelong servitude where one is immediately born in debt and has to pay off their debt through labour to in so doing 'earn their living' - instead of recognising each one's right to live from birth.
I commit myself to the empowerment of the poor through first implementing a Basic Income Grant system and from there an Equal Money System.
I commit myself to pierce through the veil of economic traditions, rituals and spectacles to see what is really going on behind the scenes and what price we're paying to uphold our ignorant bliss.
I commit myself to familiarising myself with the vocabulary of economics so that I am able to stand equal and one to economists and, in that, empower myself to see when economists, politicians, academics and corporations attempt to deceive me through speaking nonsense in an unfamiliar language.
